Fazale Karim criticises US Black Water for terrorist acts

London—Chairman Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), a leading religious alliance in Pakistan, Sahibzada Fazale Karim has said that US agency Black Water involved in behind the terrorist acts in country and terrorist groups were using American brand weapons in Pakistan for killing innocent people. He said US was promoting the terrorism as a tool against the Islam.

The visiting SIC chairman was addressing a press conference at a local hotel at South Hall. Member Kashmir Council Ch Muhammad Khan, Hafiz Muhammad Aslam, Ch Muhammad Sabir, Ch Muhammad Asif Karim, Ch Maroof, Chairman Jamia Masjid Hounslow Trust Ch Abdul Majeed and a large number of local religious leaders were also present on the occasion.

Mr. Fazale Karim said that SIC has no link with Dafa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC), a hardliners religious alliance, because most of banned outfits were part of this alliance. He criticized Punjabi Taliban and said that such group was operating in South Punjab areas and they have also targeted our soldiers in Gujrat and Lahore in separate incidents. He also welcomed the appointment of Fakharud Din G. Ebrabim as new Chief Election Commissioner and said that election commission should implement the new election reforms for controlling the election expenditures. He said that next election should be held according to schedule and emphasized that local bodies election should be conducted immediately in all over the country.

He expressed his concern over the confrontation between national institutions and stressed that all institutions must play their role according to the constitution. He said Sunni Ittehad was in favour to create new provinces on administration basis and Hazara province must be announced soon as it is a longstanding demand of the local people.
