SUBSYSTEMs Wins $74M Multiple Award Omnibus III FCS&T Contract Supporting the U.S. Army

Subsystem Technologies, Inc. (SUBSYSTEMs) of Arlington, Virginia has won a five-year contract valued at up to $74 million to fulfill the requirements for software engineering support in the planning, designing, implementing and testing of weapons fire control systems. The work will support development and maintenance activities within the Fire Control Systems & Technology (FCS&T) Directorate at the Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey.

Under this multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, SUBSYSTEMs will provide support to the Mortars and Common Fire Control Team for a wide spectrum of products including the Mortar Fire Control System (MFCS), Lightweight Handheld Mortar Ballistic Computer (LHMBC), M777A2 LW-155 Digital Fire Control System, M119A3 Digitization, and other current and future programs related to mortars and common fire control systems. The support services include full lifecycle systems support, process improvement, and training. These activities will assist ARDEC in successful research and development efforts and on-going MFCS upgrades and enhancements.


The SUBSYSTEMs support to the Artillery and Tank Weapon Fire Control System (FCS) Teams includes a wide spectrum of products such as the M109 Paladin Fire Control, M1A1 Abrams Fire Control, and other current and future programs related to Artillery and Tank fire control systems.
